Peter Younghusband

Peter Younghusband started investing in 2000 following a discussion in the school staff room about residential property investment. He was looking for an investment that was simple and easy due to living in Karratha at the time, a remote town in North West Western Australia. Peter decided to purchase his first property just to the north of Perth.

Peter’s motivation for investing was that he would eventually move into the property. However, due to the performance of his first investment he was keen to purchase again. Peter purchased his second investment property 18 months later. Soon followed purchases in Townsville, Darwin, Port Kennedy and Karratha in joint partnership with his friend Greg. Today, one of his Karratha properties brings in an incredible gross yield of 17.5%.

Peter currently owns six investment properties; including four with his friend. Thanks to this impressive portfolio it has allowed him to semi-retire, and he’s only 44.

Your Investment Property rated Peter as an A+ investor.
